Rachel has had a lifelong passion for health and wellness! Living life to the fullest with the least amount of stress helps to lead a fun and exciting and prosperous life. Having a passion for this, she has chosen to share her happiness and keys to living life to the fullest. Using and teaching several modalities of self care and self love, Rachel will assist, guide, hold your hand and cheer you on as you start and navigate through your own journey of self care and healing for the mind, body and spirit which will lead you to a happier, healthier and stress free life.
Rachel is a Holistic Health Coach, Gong Master, Reiki Practitioner, teaches Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga, SUP Yoga (Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga) and Aerial Yoga. She is also a Plant Based Professional Cook and studied Food as Medicine Ayurvedic Nutrition and Cooking through The International Sivananda Vedanta Centre and American Institute of Vedic Studies.
Lesleigh has been studying, performing and teaching tribal belly dance since 2002. In pursuit of growth and a deeper knowledge of this rich and ancient dance form, Lesleigh continues to study with some of the worlds most renowned teachers. As a teacher, Lesleigh's strength is in the details of how to properly execute tribal fusion style of belly dance, with a focus on strong body ergonomics, the energy and texture of the movements, and how all that translates into a more positive relationship with the body, the music and the dance. For this retreat Lesleigh will be offering the subtlety of how this dance form can bring you home in your body- how it can give your body permission to be, to move, to flow and to wiggle. You will have a greater sense of your body from deep within it to greater expansion and expression.
Amanda is a free spirited soul that you may find meditating on the beach or running around painted from head to toe in Costa Rica. An active traveling yogi, Amanda is a certified teacher of Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and SUP (stand up paddleboard) Yoga. Sometimes you even catch her with a hoop in hand or playing around with acro yoga. This free spirited soul will be sharing her love of all things yoga with all of you at Stripping the Layers.
Mandy has been teaching Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga for over 3 years & Aerial Yoga for 2.5 years. Mandy originally got started in yoga to get her health back. From this journey she has chosen to help others regain control of their mind, body & spirit. Mandy's mission is to provide "Real Yoga to Real People" (all shapes & sizes/all walks of life)... She strongly believes that yoga is made for everyone, however not every yoga position is made for every body. With this understanding she is able to provide everyone with poses that work for them and change the ones that don't.
